The Night Owl tapestry, designed by Ami Katz, draws its inspiration from a moment of visual harmony: an ottoman upholstered in “Seasons Spring” paired with Lars Nilsson’s green “Royal Snowflake” rug — and its refined black-and-white counterpart. This sparked the creation of a new weave that would complement these designs. The idea was to create a pattern that could also be used for square rugs, one that can be coloured in many ways for those who prefer a less vibrant or more understated expression than the earlier pieces in the collection.
