Vandra Rugs proudly presents Royal Snowflake, a striking rug collection designed by Lars Nilsson. Inspired by the stone flooring of a 17th-century Italian palazzo, microscopic studies of porphyry, and the unique beauty of snowflakes, the collection merges tradition into a structured and elegant design.
Handwoven using the traditional Swedish Röllakan technique with the finest wool yarn, Royal Snowflake comes in two variations. Fleur de Porphyre B/W features a refined black-and-white palette where each hexagon subtly shifts in shade, creating depth and movement. Fleur de Porphyre Vert brings in shades of moss, mint, and celadon, echoing the organic beauty of botanical hues.
Each rug is handwoven in sizes to your specification, up to 14 meters in length and 6 meters in width, and is also available in bespoke colors.
